I decided I wanted a way to hold my paint, hopefully where the cat can't knock it over. I built this out of scrap wood. It's a 3/4" piece of pine and a thin piece of wood like for the back of a cabinet. A Forstner bit would have been the best but I had a 1.5" hole saw and a drill press and went to work. The hole goes all the way through the top piece and is capped off by the small piece underneath. It was glued then clamped and sanded. I will add a couple of clips to hang it and it's sister.
