The Wheel of Time SeriesOk, I will admit that I did not read the whole series. I think I got half way through book 4 and threw in the towel. However, I love origin stories and the first book has one of the best, most classic stories I have read. Young teenagers in a small out of the way town. Mysterious visitors with secrets and abilities. An unknown threat to the simple life. Grand adventure calling to them. It was a fun read.

I love this series, though I too have not yet read through to completion. Hopefully that will change soon, as the wife and I started "reading" them again via audio-book in the car several months ago. We're about to start book 9 :)
