Gamma Week 8 (11/23/14)
221 lbs. - BMI 33.5
Losing Fat - I am super glad I bought the new scale. My weight has not changed but I have lost 8 lbs of fat and put on the same amount of muscle.
Gamma Week 4 (10/26/14)
224 lbs. - BMI 34.1
New Scale - I bought one of those FitBit scales. It is very accurate for weight and it also sends a charge through your bare feet to tell you your BMI and Lean to Fat ratio. Don't worry, you can't feel a thing. In the past month, I have missed 2 days at the gym.
Gamma Week 1 (10/5/14)
230 lbs. - BMI 35.0
Joined a Gym - Joined a gym this week and I went every day. I am alternating cardio and weights. If I take a day off, I am pretty sure I won't go again.
Gamma Week 0 (9/28/14)
233 lbs. - BMI 35.4
Back at it - Friends at work are starting to lose weight and I want to join in.
Beta Week 2 (5/14/13)
221 lbs. - BMI 33.6
Calorie Counting - I struggled again with my calories. I would do fairly well, then go out to eat. At least there is a little progress.
Beta Week 1 (5/7/13)

Tough Start - My head cold is over and now begins the work again. I began using my calorie counting app last week and did a fairly good job of watching what I ate. Then my spouse decided to take us out to the Melting Pot. 1500 cal in one meal =( I didn't lose any weight this week. However, today, I went for my first bike ride.
Goals Achieved: Begin working out.
Beta Week 0 (4/30/13)
222 lbs. - BMI 33.8
Do Over - I really geared myself up to run the 5k Foam Run last fall. The day before, I twisted my back. It was really the only back problems I had for the whole year but it meant that I couldn't run the race. I was bummed and I quit working out. Then the holidays happened. Now it is almost summer and my clothes are tight again. I have started tracking my calories and I will begin working out next Monday (after my head cold is over).
Goals Achieved: Begin Again.
Alpha Week 0 (3/4/12)
238 lbs. - BMI 36.2
Ground Zero - My dad had his second heart attack in 18 months. Something has to change in me or I will be there soon. I am starting this journey at 238 lbs. and 36.2 BMI.

So... I took time off and gained weight. =( It happens but now it's time to get back with it. Here we go with Week 0 Beta.
