I picked up some Simple Green the other day and dropped 6 trenchers into a chipped coffee mug. They have been here for 48 hours and layers of paint are peeling off. It is my first time working with Simple Green but I have had these trenchers for 4+ years and they have never been fielded. I bought them already painted (and cheap) along with 4 primed black. I hope to get them cleaned up, buy a box of the new Trencher Commandos, and paint them all together.
Here are my recent purchases. I have the 6 Long Gunners, 2 Officers, and 2 Standard Bearers to fill out my Long Gunner Units. The new Warcaster Kara Sloan is also a new purchase. I already had eHaley, who finally got assembled, and the Squire, who was based along with the rest of them.
The next step will be to attach the washers and a coat of black spray primer to lock down the sand.

Have you tried Gorilla Glue brand super glue? I've switched to that instead of 2-part epoxy, it may be what you're looking for when it comes to those tiny pieces.
I haven't tried it. I have been using super-glue and green stuff for filler. May have to pick some up. Thanks!
When I assembled eCaine, I simply left away the ultratiny bits like the two small hoses. From my point of view, the model still looks good and I don't have a mess trying to make them stay on the model.
I was considering the same thing. I don't think I want to use the "bullets" coming out of the gun. I'm not sure about the hoses yet. Thanks!
I am actually a fan of Castrol Super clean for my stripping, of non clothing items that is, needs!
I find it does a really good job. As for glue I use the cheap 6 pack from wally world for a dollar super glue and if I need a little something extra I throw in a little green stuff and smooth it out to blend!
Coffey, I think you should throw your mini's and the wife in car and come down to play! (Please Amanda! ;)
